Catchments supports school catchment research for NSW, Victoria, and Queensland. The app combines public catchment boundaries, school profile information, Apple MapKit search, and route estimates so you can compare properties and nearby schools.

Data accuracy

Catchments is a research aid, not an enrolment authority. Boundary data, school names, and school profiles can change. Always verify enrolment boundaries, eligibility rules, and school availability with official sources before making property, enrolment, or relocation decisions.

Troubleshooting

First data download: Keep the app open on a reliable network until the initial download finishes. Try again later if an official data source is temporarily unavailable.
Cache refresh: If information looks stale, refresh downloaded data from app settings when that control is available.
Address search: Address search is powered by Apple MapKit. Try a more specific suburb, postcode, or street address if a result is missing or ambiguous.
Route estimates: Travel times are estimates from Apple MapKit and may vary with transport mode, time, road conditions, and route availability.
Saved properties: If a saved property is not appearing, check whether it was deleted, filtered, or stored on another device. The initial release is expected to keep saved data local unless iCloud sync is enabled before submission.
